Well...Ironically the surgery is tomorrow. They called today to see if we could do it tomorrow, so we said SURE!
We are to call at 8 a.m. to get a surgery time. The surgery is being done at Hillcrest Hospital. This is an outpatient surgery, so we should be home tomorrow night if all is well. Please pray that the dizziness isn't too bad, or if it is... that the end result will be worth it. Julie, Kaylah and the girls are watching Addison and Mimi tomorrow. Wish them happy thoughts too since Mimi is on the mend from a lingering ear infection and may be a bit fussy. Also, Addison has his first t-ball game tomorrow night at 7:00 at the YMCA in Dover... unfortunately we will be missing that, but Julie will be there rooting for him.
We had a bible study at my house not so long ago and one of the topics is that three is a divine number... and there are always threes in the Bible. The week I get the hook-up and start hearing through my implant is the exact week to the third year since I lost my hearing. It gives me chills.
I have realistic expectations and know that this will be a lot of work. But, I have great family, friends and faith and I am ready for this challenge.
